This year for Halloween Foxcroft Academy will be holding many events, some charitable and some just fun. Tomorrow, October 24th on the practice football field the JMG students will be organizing a “Haunted pathway” event starting with a creepy graveyard that follows a path into the trails of Foxcroft Academy. In the path will be variations of the stories done by the Brothers Grimm including stories like Red Riding Hood and more. For children the Haunted Pathway will be from 6:00pm-7:00pm for the braver it will be held from 8:00pm-9:30pm. Cost to walk this creepy pathway is 3$ for children 5 to 12 years and 5$ for people 13 years and older. All money will be going towards JMG for their supplies and future projects.
Held on the same day, October 24th at 11:00am the Key Club will be hosting a pumpkin carving event, “Carving out Cancer” a charitable event. Minimum donation requirement is 5$ to carve a pumpkin. This event is a fun new way to raise awareness for cancer. Come down the the student center in the cafeteria of Foxcroft Academy to help this wonderful cause.

  Another Key Club project is the Treat or Treat for Unicef. “Unicef works in more than 190 countries and territories to help keep the worlds kids alive and healthy” – Key Club. For just $1.80 you can provide 3 vaccines to protect a mother and her future babies from maternal and neonatal tetanus. The Key Club call this the Eliminate project, they have been working in various ways to help eliminate including the recent eLEMONate project for more information on the eLEMONate project got to . In the main office of Foxcroft Academy is where you can locate the jack o’ lantern Unicef trick or treating bucket.

  Last but certainly not least, the annual Foxcroft Academy Masquerade ball. Come dressed in your best costume for the costume contest! Maybe a spooky ghost or a pretty princess. Admission is $3 for a single and $5 for a couple. Saturday from 8:00pm-11:00pm on Halloween itself the Masquerade ball will be terrifyingly fun.
