Thanksgiving is right around the corner. It’s one of the few days in the year you can pig out with many different kind of desserts. Here is one simple, yet delicious recipe that will make you go back for more.

Frosting Covered Betty Crocker Brownies

Brownie Ingredients:
Fudge Brownie Mix
1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
2 tbsp. Water
1 Egg

Frosting Ingredients:
1- Jar of vanilla frosting

Here are the instructions on how to make them:

Start by Preheating your oven to 350ºF for shiny metal or glass pan or 325ºF for dark or nonstick pan. Grease bottom only for 8-inch square pan (or using cooking spray).

Then Stir the Brownie Mix, oil, water and egg with a spoon about 50 times (batter may be lumpy). Make sure everything is mixed evenly with no spots of brownie mix left. Spread in pan.

Bake 26 to 28 minutes. Check towards the end of the time and stick a toothpick in the center when it comes out almost clean; cool.

After cooling, gently push chocolate chips all through the brownie mix just enough so it is even to the top of the brownie mix.

Spread the frosting all over evenly on the top of the brownie mix. Depending on how much you like, put more or less.

Cut through and eat it up!

For cake like brownies, increase water to 1/4 cup.
