With so many changes occurring in the NFL from a huge change of coaching staff to possible location changes that it’s hard to keep up with the teams. One large change that has occurred is Chip Kelly was removed from his position as the Eagles head coach and instead of retiring he was picked up by the 49ers for a 24 million dollar contract for four years. After being with the Eagles for three years he hasn’t done a great job in years past and he is getting up there in age at 54 years old. He has his work cut out for him one of his main focuses is to set up a new coaching roster to boost the teams productivity during games.

The team owner had this to say”Chip has a proven track record at both the college and NFL levels that speaks for itself,” York said in a statement. “We believe strongly that he is the right man to get this team back to competing for championships. I look forward to watching Trent and Chip work closely to build a team that will make us all proud.”

Besides the coaching staff the 49ers said that they either plan to release Colin Kapernick this year due to his contract being up in 2016

The 49ers believe that chip Kelleys quick hitting offense could be what they need while coaching the Eagles the offense averaged a play every 22.7 seconds that is faster by three seconds that’s the second leading team the Giants.

This next football season will be a huge challenge for Chip Kelley and the remainder of the 49ers football team. Hopefully they will get on track and we will see them have a better record than last years and make it to a post season play off spot.
