Fall season is Apple season so what a perfect time to fill your home with the sweet scent of savory Apple Crisp. To make this delicious treat you must first start with preheating the oven to 350 Degrees. Apples of course now are the most important part. Have at least 5 apples sliced and skinned. Spread the apples out across a 9x13in pan, for now sprinkle a light coat of white sugar across the apples.

Ingredients needed for the crisp will be white sugar, flour, cinnamon, water, minute cooking oats, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder and stick butter.

Start with one 1 Cup of white sugar mixed with 1 Tablespoon of flour, and 1 Teaspoon of cinnamon in a mixing bowl. Sprinkle this mixture over the pan of sliced apples, then evenly pour 1/2 Cup of water over as well. Now take 1 Cup of minute cooking oats, 1 Cup of flour, 1 Cup brown sugar, 1/4 Teaspoon of baking powder, 1/4 Teaspoon of baking soda, 1/2 stick of melted butter. Mix this by hand in a separate bowl then crumble over pan of apples. After making sure all the apples are evenly covered in ingredients, bake in the oven for 45 mins.

This treat is good for any party, personally I make it every year for my family Thanksgiving get together. Serve it with some vanilla bean ice cream and some apple cider.

Now I have interviewed a few people on how they liked the crisp “It was amazing” says Maci Poulin

“It was really good!” Says Emily Malioux

“I’ve never liked cooked apples but this was really good” says Kendra
